AI continues to advance and permeate our tools and lives. I wrote down a few wishes for 2026, let's hope some or all can come true! Happy new year 2026 everyone!

Avoid Free-plan AWS accounts, even if you're a beginner to cloud
Although many have asked AWS to implement free playground/sandbox environments for learning, I believe the new Free-plan AWS accounts are not really that useful for serious learning. Instead, learn to manage budgets and monitor costs right from the get-go.

The AWS GenAI Dev Pro (AIP-C01) Certification Beta is now live
One can now register for the Beta exam of the new AWS Generative AI Developer — Professional certification (AWS AIP-C01). The official exam guide and exam prep material in AWS Skill Builder are also available. I'm excited to take this cert!
